Hardware Wallet

1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Cardano app installed on your hardware wallet (it should be either Ledger Nano S or Ledger Nano X). Also, confirm your version of Yoroi Wallet matches your browser (if not, download here).

2. Open Yoroi Wallet and choose the option “Connect to hardware wallet”, then move forward by clicking on the following: “Cardano”, “Ledger Hardware Wallet”, and “Shelley-era Wallet”.

3. Check out the prerequisites you need to use the full functionality of the wallet, then click “Next”.

4. Connect your Ledger device to your computer and select the Cardano ADA app on the device. Then click “Connect”.

5. Click on the name of your device. To verify the public key, press both buttons on the device and then press the right button to confirm.

6. Name your wallet and click on “Save”. Click on “Upgrade” and “Continue”, and then confirm the transaction by following the on-screen instructions on your device.

7. Click over to Delegation List. Now you will see a list of the available stake pools which are available to delegate to on Cardano. Type “DApps” or “Dapps Latam” in the search bar.

8. To delegate your stakes to DApps, click on “Delegate”. Then you will see a screen with all the information on DApps. Click on “Delegate” to start the process of delegating to DApps.

9. Click on “Continue” and then verify the transaction by following the on-screen instructions on your device.

10. It’s done! You’ll see a confirmation that the wallet has been successfully delegated.

App based wallet

1. Download the Yoroi Mobile App for iOS or Android. Be sure that you're downloading the application created by EMURGO, the commercial arm of the Cardano project.

2. Open the app and select the option to add a new wallet.

3. Choose Add Wallet (Shelley-Era).

4. Choose Create wallet

5. Give your wallet a name and create a secure sending password. This password is going to be used anytime you transfer funds or delegate to a pool, so be sure to remember it, and keep it very safe.
